RENEWABLE ENERGY DAY at the ROUNDHOUSE

Celebrate the economic, environmental, and social benefits of renewable energy and energy efficiency at Got Sol’s third annual Renewable Energy Day!  With 200 days of sunshine, New Mexico has the potential to lead the nation in renewable energy development, creating jobs, improving the economy and reducing water use.  Join us to learn about the latest developments in this exciting field and network with others who are working to improve New Mexico’s energy future.

A diverse array of advocates, including community groups, public institutions, businesses and non-profits will have tables in the Roundhouse to share their initiatives with legislators and the public.  This family-friendly event will include citizen lobby training, electric cars, solar ovens, an ecological art table, and hands-on electricity generation demonstrations.  The Press Conference will feature legislators and other public officials, industry specialists and youth who will share their policies and plans to help grow the renewable energy industry in our state.

Location: New Mexico State Capitol, Old Santa Fe Trail & Paseo de Peralta. Free parking is available in the parking garage at 420 Galisteo Street.
